About this property

Hosted by

Our charming small vineyard property comprises two separate and independent one-bedroom apartments (no inside access). Newly-renovated with wonderful views over the Barolo vines to the Maritime Alps. Each apartment has one double bedroom, open plan kitchen-living area and bathroom (top floor has a bath and view of the vines, ground floor has a shower). The décor is tasteful, modern and light with natural wood furniture and has a balcony, outside sitting area, private parking and tiny vineyard.

The property is on the edge of a small ‘borgata’ or small rural village completely surrounded by the beautiful UNESCO Langhe vineyards whose grapes produce world-famous Barolo wine. Our house – with its own minute vineyard – is part of one of these working vineyards which has been owned by a traditional winemaking family for two generations.

Something maybe to consider is that a couple or single who would like a separate home office area could live in the top floor apartment and use the ground floor apartment for a work space. There is a sturdy bar-height table with bar chairs to match, lighting and wifi – plus you can just walk two paces out of the door for a sunny break when necessary!

Although we won't be there in person we are always available on the telephone for any questions or information or help needed.

According to Italian law each guest is required to be registered so we will therefore be asking guests to forward us details of their passport or ID document 24 hours before arrival. Many thanks!

There is also a city tax of €1.50 per day per person which we have included in the price.

It is just a few kilometers from the towns of Barolo, Monforte and Alba all famous for their world-class wine, for the special “tartufo bianco” or Alba white truffle, and for their artistic, cultural and gastronomic history - Alba itself was declared a UNESCO City for Gastronomy in 2017.
Since 2014 the wine-producing landscape of Piedmont, comprising the vineyards of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site and we are situated in the most important area of “Langa del Barolo” right at the heart of the UNESCO classified “core zone”.
Our location is ideal for exploring Northern Italy as we are close to Piedmont’s capital city of Turin, the Ligurian coast, the Maritime Alps and Lake Maggiore – all renowned for their spectacular scenery, culture and art.

We have private parking - for two cars

You can have a wine-tasting or buy wine right on your doorstep …in fact less than 2 minutes walk from the house! Here you can meet all the family and not only enjoy their warmth and knowledge (also in English) but also of course their delicious Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Nas-Cetta wines.
